A Thai National Day reception was hosted by the Thai Embassy at the Crowne Plaza hotel. Foreign Ministry acting under-secretary for political affairs Shaikh Abdulla bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was the guest of honour.
Also present were Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, adviser to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, members of the diplomatic corps, Commanders of Combined Task Force 150, 151 and 153, Bahraini business leaders and friends of Thailand.
In his welcome remarks, Thai chargé d’affaires Nuttapat Chumnijarakij praised Thai-Bahraini friendship which continues to grow and prosper.
