Ducati unveiled the Streetfighter V4 for 2020.
It comes with a slightly modified V4 Panigale Desmosedici engine capable of producing 208 hp (153 kW) at 12,750 rpm and maximum torque of 123 Nm (12.5 kgm) at 11,500 rpm. The final ratio is shorter than that of the Panigale V4 but delivers a wheel torque higher of +10%. This allows for an immediate response to the throttle command.
The Streetfighter has high handlebars and the addition of biplane wings. These aerodynamic appendages generate 28 kg of downforce at 270 kph (20 kg on the front wheel, 8 kg on the rear).
The latest-generation electronics package on the Streetfighter V4 revolves around a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU). This instantly detects the bike’s roll, yaw and pitch angles.
The electronics package has controls for every part of the ride. It includes ABS Cornering EVO, Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO. It also has specific Ducati electronics such as the Traction Control EVO 2, Slide Control, Wheelie Control EVO, Power Launch, Quick Shift up/down EVO 2 and Electronic Suspension EVO.
