Day 3 of our Dubai vacation started with the morning desert safari.
On our way to the desert for dune bashing we made a quick stop for quad biking.
We then went on for dune bashing which turned out to be more fun than scarier as I expected.
After around 20 minutes of dune bashing, we stepped out into the desert for photos and sand boarding.
The vast desert basking under the blue sky was a sight to behold.
My son, who wasn’t so sure about sand boarding, actually mastered it in a matter of minutes. We all took a turn each, but he enjoyed it the most. He used the sand board as climbing gear and climbed a steep sand dune.
The joy he experienced and the sense of accomplishment I saw in him are something that I will remember forever. It is indeed in simple things where true happiness lies!
It was on this day that we witnessed the true beauty of the desert. What we thought would be a regular experience turned out to be a memorable one.
