A 72-hour deadline was announced on Monday for Saudi nationals to leave Bahrain.
The Saudi Embassy in Bahrain issued a statement urging its nationals to return either via the King Fahad Causeway or Gulf Air during the stipulated period.
The move follows travel restrictions imposed by Saudi due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.
