The Rotary Club of Salmaniya started to try virtual meetings. Due to the corona virus situation in Bahrain, the members are unable to arrange the regular lunch meetings but still want to keep in touch with each other. The Club decided to arrange virtual meetings between members to continue a sense of routine.
After the success of the trial, the Club has decided to start their first virtual meeting this week. Virtual meetings can include a guest speaker, training and seminars to take members mind of the situation and to create a sense of normalcy.
Also meetings can be arranged to create brainstorming sessions on how the Club members can help combat the Coronavirus and the effects on the economy. With the move online the Rotary Club of Salmaniya can work together to combat this crisis and elevate the pressure on less fortunate families.
