A TOTAL of 160 active cases that have tested positive for coronavirus in Bahrain are still receiving treatment.
Of these, 156 are stable while the remaining four are critical, according to the Health Ministry’s web page dedicated to Covid-19. A total of 14,788 tests for the virus have been conducted so far. Meanwhile, 95 patients have been discharged from isolation and treatment facilities.
Bahrain reported its first death from the virus on Monday. The 65-year-old Bahraini woman, who had underlying chronic health conditions, contracted the virus while outside the country.
