Bahrain has become the first country to test medicines for Covid-19 as requested by WHO, GDNonline reported tonight.
Covid-19 Control and Monitoring Committee Head Lieutenant Colonel Dr Manaf Al Qahtani said that Bahrain was also the first to announce contract
tracing to ensure panic does not spread among the public.
He also announced that 70 per cent of the cases contracted the virus from outside and 25 per cent from contact.
Bahrain has so far conducted 23,306 tests for Covid-19, with 200 to 300 tests conducted daily.
