The kingdom's strategy to prevent the spread of Covid-19 will continue to focus on reducing gatherings to five people or fewer, the Crown Prince said yesterday and the GDN reported today.
This remains the most effective proven strategy in combating the virus, as well as ensuring family life and economic productivity continues within a managed framework of free movement, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, said.
He congratulated the Bahraini people on their self-discipline and civic responsibility in adhering to the measures already adopted.
The Crown Prince said continuing to abide by instructions from Bahrain’s key government ministries was critical.
He thanked Bahrain’s co-ordinating and response ministries for their enormous efforts to date and reiterated that it was only through the essential partnership between the government and its citizens, that this approach continues to succeed.
The Crown Prince said Bahrain’s commitment to overcome the virus was absolute and no government capability would be held back in maintaining the health and safety of its people.
He reminded citizens that everyone had a vital, ongoing role to play and that together, Bahrain would emerge faster and stronger.
