National Assembly sessions could be suspended for 45 days as part of efforts to contain the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), writes Mohammed Al A'Ali.
Sources told the GDN that today's Parliament session would be the last while the Shura Council session on Sunday is expected to be the last.
Official details are expected to be revealed later today.
It comes due to the large number of 40 members present in each chamber along with other officials.
