'Smile', an initiative of Bahrain Future Society for Youth which provides psycho-social support to children with cancer and their parents in Bahrain, provided coronavirus protection kits to sick children and their families who are affiliated with the initiative.
The kits included an integrated package of masks, gloves and sanitisers.
'Smile' volunteers delivered the kits to the homes of sick children in Bahrain's cities, villages and areas while also instructing them the right way to use them.
The volunteers were mindful of the preventive and precautionary measures in place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
They gathered in small teams and sterilised the kits during the packaging and distributing and advised the parents how to use these kits correctly.
