THE Jaffari Endowments Directorate yesterday issued a directive banning people from visiting graves of their relatives, the GDN reported today.
The new precautionary measure against the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) aims to reduce overcrowding in cemeteries and ensure burials are attended by a limited number of relatives.
“We urge the public not to visit the graves or gather in the cemetery due to the current situation,” said the directorate. “These directives are issued to protect the health and safety of all the people in Bahrain.”
