Around 600 tests a day are being conducted at the drive-through facility for Covid-19, the GDN reported today.
This was revealed by National National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (Covid-19) Monitoring Committee head Lt. Col. Dr. Manaf Al Qahtani.
He also reveled that a total of 3,300 tests a day for Covid-19 is being conducted in Bahrain as part of preventive measures to detect and limit the spread of the coronavirus.
He also reiterated that the high number of cases among migrant workers is expected and is due to the gatherings inside labour camps.
He was speaking at a press briefing alongside Health Ministry Under-Secretary Dr Waleed Al Manea and SMC Infectious Disease Control consultant Dr Jameela Salman.
