TWO men were arrested for running a barber’s shop from their place of residence in Muharraq, it has been announced, the GDN reported today.
The two, identified only as Asians, were arrested following a complaint filed against them.
According to the Muharraq Governorate police director general an investigation was launched following the complaint.
He said the men were caught red-handed while cutting people’s hair in their place of residence and the tools of their trade were confiscated.
He added that necessary legal procedure was followed in collaboration with the Health Ministry’s Public Health Directorate in preparation to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
