THOUSANDS of face masks will be made by Bahraini productive families to be distributed free to citizens and residents as part of efforts to combat the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19), the GDN reported today.
Under the initiative launched by the Labour and Social Development Ministry, about 200 productive families will make 100,000 face masks within a month.
The plan is to make 50 masks a day reaching 250 masks a week, either at the families’ homes or in social centres while taking into account precautionary measures and social distancing.
The materials for the masks will be provided by the ministry.
