Baloo's Buddies is an avid follower of Team Angel Wolf in Dubai (@teamangelwolf).  We are totally in awe of the amazing sporting feats they achieve as a family ensuring that their son Rio, who is a person of determination, is fully included in all their sporting endeavours.  From triathons to marathons, long distance cycling to swimming events, Team Angel Wolf have proved that there are no barriers to anyone taking part in anything.

We were delighted to read about TeamAngelWolf's latest 'stay at home' challenge "Climb with Rio".  Baloo is astonished how high father and son plan to climb! (reference Stanley's article linked below).

Since the start of the COVID-19 restrictions in Bahrain, Baloo's Best Buddy Othmann has been training at home every day using Joe Wicks online.  The exercise helps him to keep mentally and physically fit.  

Baloo had a chat with Othmann today and they decided that Othmann would put his training to good use and #climbwithRIO 

So ...

With his support team in a relay style event, Othmann plans to climb the 50 steps in the building where he lives 21.5 times, equivallent to the 1077 steps in one of Bahrain's Harbour Towers.  

The fab people at Harbour Gate and Harbour Towers support our work at Baloo's Buddies and RIA Institute so we thought what better place to "climb" ?    I hope other atheletes will take up Team Angel Wolf's  challenge with the fittest climbing up and down the equivallent of both towers - that would be around 4,300 steps!  says Christine Gordon, Founder of RIA Institute and mother of Othmann

UPDATE:  Othmann and his support team had a fantastic time on Friday "climbing" the Harbour Tower as part of #climbwithrio the brain child of Team Angel Wolf in Dubai.
