On Saturday July 11th, the “Keep Bahrain Clean” group headed for the second beach cleanup during the pandemic as pollution unfortunately never stops or has a lockdown due to human carelessness. The small group met at 5pm at the north-west shoreline of Bahrain Bay beach approved and supported with the permission by Naim Police Station. After briefing on personal security, health and safety measures, complying with the current rules and regulations, like wearing gloves and masks, keeping physical distancing, groups of two strolled along the shore line to collect recyclables, like aluminum and plastic as well as general waste. The recyclables were brought for donation to the Bahrain Association of the Parent and Friends of the Disabled in Adliya to support their initiative of raising funds for wheel chairs for special needy people in Bahrain. During the one hour collection session a total of three bags of recyclables and eight bags of general waste was collected in addition some special waste like food waste, shoes, masks and other stuff were found dumped by careless humans, who don’t respect nature and their own living space. After completion, the group enjoyed the amazing sunset of Bahrain sky…
