Purificacion Garcia has launched an exclusive regional collaboration with Saudi designer Nora Al Shaikh to create a curated abaya collection for the Middle East.
The collection includes designs inspired by three different bags - The Mi Primera Cita bag, the Homenaje Acolchado bag and the 360 bag.
The Homenaje Acolchado inspired abaya design features embroidered tulle detailing on the sleeves in the same colour as the bag. The fabric used is satin mate which is light and soft.
The Mi Primera Cita inspired abaya design boasts similar lines in sequins on one side of the outfit which start from the shoulder and goes down below the waistline.
The 360º bag inspired abaya design originates from the bags geometric pattern which stands out due to the difficulty of joining three pieces together. This played an important role in Nora’s inspiration to create the satin mate abaya. She incorporated the technique onto the garment by adding two different colours to the designs; Toffee and black.
The entire collection will be available Purificacion Garcia stores by end of July.
