Marley and Potato met in less than ideal circumstances. Potato was an emergency rescue and we brought Marley home from the kennels so she can come out of her shell before legally adopting her (behind my father's back haha).
We honestly had no idea how Marley was going to react to having a small (somewhat needy) puppy following her around, especially since she was already having difficulties adjusting to her surroundings, our house, and my family.
We set down Potato on the floor near the door and Marley was just looking at him with curiousity (after a tirade of barking that lasted a few minutes). Suddenly she charged at him and my breath caught in my throat.
She ran right at Potato and just as I was about to bend down and grab him she just booped him on the nose.
It was such an adorable moment that I wish I caught on camera.
I got the next best thing though, they booped each other and walked side by side to lay down underneath the couch.
