
Bahrain yesterday registered 429 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 634 recoveries and one fatality.
A 60-year-old Bahraini man died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 255.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 429 new cases, 140 were expat workers, 283 contacts of local cases and six travel-related.
It said an additional 634 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total number of recoveries to 66,184.
The ministry added that of the 5,364 active cases, 119 were receiving treatment and 58 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 71,803 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,458,920 tests for the coronavirus.
