Bahrain yesterday registered 454 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 458 recoveries and one fatality.
A 53-year-old Bahraini woman died from coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 261.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 454 new cases, 127 were expat workers, 324 contacts of local cases and three travel-related.
It said an additional 458 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 67,933.
The ministry added that of the 4,922 active cases, 116 were receiving treatment and 61 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 73,116 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 1,488,703 virus tests.
