Bahrain yesterday registered 179 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 211 recoveries and three fatalities.
Two Bahraini men, 63 and 64, and a Bahraini woman, 66, died yesterday taking the toll to 337.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 179 new cases, 66 were expatriate workers, 100 contacts of local cases and 13 travel-related.
It said an additional 211 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 82,680.
Of the 1,865 active cases, 38 were receiving treatment and 20 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered 84,882 cases and has conducted 1,914,445 tests.
