Bahrain yesterday recorded 183 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 133 recoveries and two fatalities.
Two Bahraini women, aged 54 and 78, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 343.
The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 183 new cases, 98 were expatriate workers, 71 contacts of local cases, and 14 travel-related.
It said that an additional 133 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 86,348.
The ministry added that of the 1,603 active cases, 23 are receiving treatment and 10 are in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 88,294 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 2,139,302 tests for Covid-19.
