The Health Ministry has announced the death of an 81-year-old Bahraini woman from Covid-19 today, reports GDNOnline.
Earlier today, the ministry announced the deaths of three Bahraini men (69, 81, and 70) and an expat woman (79) from Covid-19.
This takes today's tally to five and the total number of fatalities in the kingdom to 449.
The ministry expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased.
Covid-19 Stats
Bahrain yesterday registered 651 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 673 recoveries and two fatalities.
Of the new cases, 229 were expat workers, 410 contacts of active cases and 12 travel-related.
An additional 673 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 114,472.
Of the 6,857 active cases, 133 are receiving treatment and 65 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 121,778 cases.
The kingdom has also conducted 3,077,307 tests.
