Bahrain yesterday recorded 972 new cases of Covid-19, alongside 1,046 recoveries and one fatality.
A 41-year-old expat woman, died from the coronavirus yesterday, taking the death toll to 626.
The Health Ministry revealed that of the 972 new cases, 414 were expat workers, 536 contacts of local cases and 32 travel-related.
It said an additional 1,046 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 162,537.
Of the 10,385 active cases, 176 are receiving treatment and 109 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 173,543 cases including active cases, recoveries and deaths.
The kingdom has also conducted 4,044,433 virus tests.
