Prisoner of your past?

Do you have sleepless nights thinking about something that happened in your past? It can be a bad relationship, a mistake on your part or any traumatic experience.

We all have "good old days" in our life even though those days were straining for us then. It can be school days, college days or maybe special times that we would like to cherish. Nearly everyone dwells in the past but always brooding in the past is an unhealthy habit. When such thoughts stay for long and start to ruin the present, make it a point to shift your focus.

The next thing you should do is to FORGIVE people. You must be thinking about how easy to tell but not easy to execute. Forgive for what has happened to you, not because they are right; you deserve mental peace. Just remember that you hadn't acquired the experience you got now when such trauma or mistakes happened. Whatever happened in the past has shaped you into the person you are. Be grateful to the past life for teaching you who you are.

Taking responsibility for life : This is one way out from the past Take the lessons from past experiences and move on to the present. Telling yourself that "Whatever has happened cannot be changed, but I choose to move forward taking lessons from my past" will help you.

Surround yourselves with positive-minded people: Always surround yourself with people who can motivate you and not let you down. Whenever you feel about going back into the past, immediately get in touch with such positive-minded people and get recharged.

Remove the fear that people remember your past mistakes: Not every people will remember your past of which you are so bothered. Every people around you are also surrounded by their fears, anxieties and other botheration.

Strong faith in Supreme Power: Leave everything to supreme power and keep trust in the Almighty. We as humans can see only our perspective but he can see our thoughts and intentions.

Leaving the darkness of your past behind allows you to focus on the light of your future.

BE A PIONEER OF THE FUTURE , NOT A PRISONER OF THE PAST.
