Bahrain yesterday recorded 403 new Covid-19 cases alongside 1,003 recoveries and five fatalities.
Yesterday’s deaths bring the total fatalities to 1,311.
The Health Ministry said that of the new cases, 221 were expat workers, 181 contacts of local cases and one travel-related.
An additional 1,003 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 254,913.
Of the 7,071 active cases, 134 are receiving treatment and 164 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 263,295 cases.
The kingdom has conducted 4,924,454 virus tests.
