More than 500 citizens and residents of Bahrain registered for the Korean Film Festival – a sign of the growing Korean craze in the kingdom – as the two countries commemorate 45 years of diplomatic relations.
Alongside the film festival ending today with a screening of the family drama Stand by Me, lovers of Korean culture have been devouring the Asian country’s newest show on Netflix, Squid Games, which became the most streamed show in Bahrain when it was released last weekend.
