His Majesty King Hamad yesterday performed Friday prayers at Al Safriya Palace mosque.
The King’s sons also performed the prayers with His Majesty.
The Friday sermon was delivered by Sunni Endowments Council chairman Dr Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri.
He expressed gratitude to Allah the Almighty for bestowing security, stability and prosperity on the kingdom and its loyal people, under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
