Bahrain has reported a Covid-related death in a very long time, along with 667 new Covid-19 cases and 179 recoveries.
The Health Ministry yesterday expressed its condolences to the family of the patient who died from Covid-related illness.
It also wished speedy recovery to those receiving treatment.
Of the new cases, 190 are expat workers, 380 contacts of local cases and 97 travel related.
An additional 179 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 277,680.
There are 4,269 active cases in the country.
Bahrain has so far registered 283,344 cases and conducted 8,069,956 tests.
