The Rotary Club of Salmaniya completed the Green House project on Sunday 26th of December 2021. The Club invited a number of Down Syndrome individuals with some volunteers to harvest the planted vegetables.
This is phase two of the Green House project, phase one was completed when the Down Syndrome individuals planted the crops in October 2021. The aim is to educate Down Syndrome individuals in sustainable farming.
The Club would like to thank the Khalid Janahi Charitable Foundation and the Bahrain Down Syndrome Society for their collaboration.
