Public schools reopen today, signalling the start of the second semester of the academic year 2022.
The Education Ministry said that schools will operate at 50 per cent of their capacity, in compliance with the Covid-19 Alert Level Traffic Light System (Yellow Level).
The ministry said that the choices of parents for their children’s education (in-person or online learning) during the first semester will also be maintained during the second half of the academic year.
The ministry directed all public schools to take required measures in accordance with the mandatory precautionary protocols, which were discussed during the meeting with the principals and the instructions cited in the guidance book.
