There is a huge demand for a golden ticket to a decade-long, happy and prosperous life in Bahrain, latest figures reveal.
More than 400 golden residency permits have so far been issued and around 1,000 requests received by immigration authorities, reflecting demand for a long-term residence visa.
Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) started accepting requests for inclusion in the Golden Residency Visa Programme since its launch in February to allow residents and other categories to permanently reside in the kingdom.
The 10-year Golden Residency Visa, is part of the Economic Recovery Plan, open to four categories – residents, retirees, property owners and talented individuals in various fields who can contribute to Bahrain’s ongoing success.
“More than 1,000 requests have been received, and more than 400 golden residency permits have been issued (since its launch),” an NPRA spokesman told the GDN.
