An urgent proposal to reintroduce remote working in the country during Ramadan has been tabled today. The proposal, which would be scheduled for Tuesday's session, is the brainchild of five MPs, led by Bader Al Dossary.
They believe that the move would enable workers to fast, fulfill family commitments and, most importantly, carry out working duties without pressure during the holy month.
"In the two pandemic years, workers were the most productive and managed to save administrative and operational costs on the government and the private sector," said Mr Al Dossary.
