The St Christopher’s Music Festival 2023 came to a successful conclusion on the evening of Wednesday 15 March in the Junior Hall, Saar, with the Grand Final Trophy Competition. This was the culmination of three days of friendly competition between young musicians from over 20 schools throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In addition to schools, we also had support from our many specialist music institutions throughout the Kingdom. We are extremely privileged in Bahrain to have such a wealth of musical expertise that nurtures and guides our young musicians towards celebrating success.
It was inspiring to see so many students practicing and preparing high quality repertoire for our many categories and levels of competition that included ‘Classical’ and ‘Rock and Pop’ genres.
We had over 200 solo competitors and 36 ensemble entries that impressed with their high level of performance and although winners had to be announced, every single performer should be proud of their achievements and we look forward to welcoming them to next year’s event.
