Negotiations between Lionel Messi and Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal are a 'done deal' and the World Cup winner will be signing a contract worth over $500 million, according to reports from the Associated Foreign Press.
The report states that sources close to the negotiations have confirmed that Messi will be moving away from Paris St.Germain to Al-Hilal at the end of his current contract in the summer. He will reportedly sign a 1-year contract with the Saudi side.
If the reports are confirmed, Messi will be following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Saudi side Al-Nassr in December 2022 for $213 million per year.
PSG have previously suspended Messi after he visited Saudi Arabia without permission.
