BAHRAIN officially launched its National Pavilion under the theme “Sweating Assets” at the 18th La Biennale di Venezia, in Venice, Italy.
The launch was attended by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa along with curators Maryam Aljomairi and Latifa Alkhayat and a number of architects and media personnel.
“We always aim to be present at La Biennale di Venezia to promote Bahrain’s innovative solutions in the field of urban architecture, which is not only applicable in Bahrain but also worldwide,” said Shaikh Khalifa during the launch.
“This year’s participation has been achieved by Bahraini architectural talents and reflects the distinction of the pavilion’s idea and theme,” he added.
The exhibition will be open to the public from today until November 26.
