Al Arabiya Network receives 38 accolades at 44th annual Telly Awards in New York City


Al Arabiya Network, the Arab world’s leading source of news, has received five gold awards at the 44th annual Telly Awards, the world’s largest honour for video and television across all screens.

The Network also received 20 silver and 13 bronze awards in various categories, bringing its total number of awards to 38 during the 2023 edition of the competition. Key categories in which Al Arabiya Network triumphed include cultural and historical programming, creative design, documentaries, social media, and use of augmented reality technology.

In the Gold category, Al Arabiya Network received the top honours for General-Cultural (“Ala Khota Al Arab”), General-Public Interest/Awareness   (“Special Mission”), Craft-Digital Environments  (“Askaritaria Defence Show”), and Craft-Virtual Art Direction (US midterm election coverage).

Its Silver awards included those in General-Documentary: Short Form for “Hikayati on Al Arabiya”, and “Rayan… Butterfly Effect”; as well as General-Journalism & News for the Network’s coverage of the 2023 Türkiye –Syria earthquake, and General-Series/Show for “Hour60 Metaverse”. Al Arabiya Network also received three silver awards in the General-Social Impact category for “Hikayati on Al Arabiya”, as well as special features and reports.

In Bronze, the Network was honoured in categories including Craft-Set Design (“Al Arabiya 360 Show” and “Saudi Budget” opener); General-Cultural (“Rawafed”); General-Documentary: Short Form (“Hikayati on Al Arabiya”); General-History (“Ala Khota Al Arab”); General-Journalism & News (Saudi Budget 2023 coverage); and General-Public Interest/ Awareness (“Al Nadwa”).
