Decorations have started to go up around the kingdom, as Bahrain prepares to celebrate its 52nd National Day this weekend.
The nation will mark the establishment of the modern Bahraini kingdom as an Arab and Muslim state, founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad’s Accession to the Throne, on Saturday and Sunday.
