NEW YEAR NEW BEGINNINGS
Once in a town, there
lived a girl named Lisa. She was very excited as New Year was right on their
doorstep. She was very attached to her old toys, clothes. One day, her mother
came to her and said- My dear Lisa, donate some of your toys and clothes as we
will buy some new toys and clothes for you as New Year is approaching. Lisa
said- Oh no mother I love my toys and clothes and I do not want to donate them.
Her mother always tried to convince her to donate some things but she never
listened to her. One day as they were going to buy some food for her family
with her mother she saw a shiny toys and beautiful clothes. She asked her mom
she could buy them, but her mom said NO.
She saw in the shop a
boy bought some toys and clothes, when he came out of the shop he saw poor
people who didn’t have toys clothes food nothing! He felt bad for them and gave
his new toys and clothes that he just bought for him. Seeing this Lisa rushed
to her home to get her toys and clothes to give the needy. From that day
onwards Lisa always thought about others and always donated things to them. She
finally realized that New Year is for new beginnings.
