Honouring the Roots; Gulf Madhyamam Begins Silver Jubilee Celebrations with Heartfelt Tribute Manama: The silver jubilee celebrations of 'Gulf Madhyamam', the first Indian international newspaper originating from the Pearl Islands of the Persian Gulf, have been inaugurated with immense honour. This landmark anniversary marks twenty-five years since the newspaper's inception at Al Ayam Press in Bahrain. The initial print run was overseen by the then-press chairman, Nabeel bin Yaqub Al Hamar, who played a crucial role in its founding. Today, serving as King Hamad's Media Adviser, he proudly unveiled the silver jubilee logo of Gulf Madhyamam, commemorating a significant chapter in the publication's history. Key figures from Gulf Madhyamam, including Operations Director Salim Ambalan, Global Head of Business Operations Muhammad Rafiq, Executive Committee Chairman Jamal Iringal, Regional Manager Jalil Abdullah and Marketing Manager Saqib Valiapeethikakal were present at the unveiling ceremony. The Gulf Madhyamam's remarkable journey has been made possible through the generous support and benevolence of His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain. The Vishwakala Indo-Bahrain Entertainment Festival, organized by the Bahrain Vishwakala Cultural Center on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, will take place tomorrow. Indian Ambassador to Bahrain HE Vinod K Jacob will be the chief guest at the event which will start tomorrow at 6 pm at the Gulf Air Club. Officials informed in the press conference that prominent people from the social and cultural sector including the ministers and parliament members of Bahrain will also participate in the program. A dance performance by troubled film star and dancer Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, a song mela prepared by Malayalam film playback singers Kannur Sheriff, Sumi Aravind and young singer Athiya Sheeju, folk song artist Suresh Pallikkara, Along with performances by Srilaya Robin and Kathak dancer Khalil A Swar, Vibe Fest is also set to host an art festival by artists from various states of India and native Bahraini artists. Bahrain is a media city Event Manager of the event. President Suresh CS, General Secretary Trivikraman Patiyath, Organizing Committee Chairman Dr PV Cherian said that everyone is invited to this event and entry is free. Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theater (PACT) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) last Friday at Century Hotel in Adlia. Presidents Mr. Ashok Kumar and Mrs. Sajitha Satish promised the audience that they would plan all sorts of activities to keep Pact at the forefront of associations in Bahrain, which was attended by around 100 members. She emphasized that this year too there will be programs giving equal importance to art programs and charity activities. General Secretary Mr. Satish Kumar and Secretary of Women's Division Ms. Usha Suresh presented the last year's activity report which was accepted by the audience with huge applause. Chief Coordinator Mr. Jyoti Kumar Menon expressed his gratitude, commitment and love to the members and reminded them that the same cooperation should be there for the future activities. Then, the first flyer of the upcoming dance drama "Maika" was released by Pact's director Shyam Ramachandran and script writer Ms. Preethi Sreekumar in the presence of the Pact Executive Committee.
