PAACT BAHRAIN STUDY TOUR WITH NEW EXPERIENCE Manama: The study tour conducted by Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theater (PAACT) has come to an end. The aim of the trip was to enhance the children's understanding of the rich history and customs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and it was well achieved. On Friday morning, at 9.15 a.m. from Anduls Garden, the journey was flagged off by BMC Chairman Francis Kaitharath. The Pact team visited the beautiful fort at Karbabad and the adjacent farm, followed by the pottery manufacturing centers at A'ali, and Rifa Fort. They also visited the forest of Karzakhan called Sumati Valav by the Malayalees, the Hanging Garden, the Tree of Life, the First Oil Well, and the Oil Museum. The group then ended their trip by visiting the Tree of Life and Avali Cathedral. The coordinators were tasked with explaining to the group in detail the history of each place. Food and competitions of all types enhanced the atmosphere of the trip. The convenors of the trip were Salman Faris, Sajitha Sathish, coordinator Subhash Menon, Deepak Vijayan, Usha Suresh, and Moorthy Noorani Padmanabhan. Chief Coordinator Jyoti Menon said more extensive study trips would be organized under the leadership of Pact in the coming years. President Ashok Kumar, General Secretary Satish, and Treasurer Ramdas Nair thanked the tour members.
