Big-hearted MP Mohammed Al Olaiwi has stepped forward to support GDN Media’s #SaveaLifeinGaza Ramadan appeal.
He donated packages of special formula baby milk after being haunted by images from the war-torn enclave of newborns being placed in body bags.
“It was heartbreaking to witness,” he told the GDN. “I couldn’t sit back and do nothing.”
The GDN has teamed up with the kingdom’s oldest charity, the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS), in partnership with the BRCS’s sister operation, the Palestine Red Crescent Society, which has listed items desperately needed.
They include:
* Hygiene kits
* Dignity kits
* Baby milk and food supplements
* Medical equipment
