Filipino Creatives Bahrain Unveils "Odyssey: An Ethereal Journey"

Manama: The Filipino Creatives Bahrain, in collaboration with Bahraini and Bahrain-based visual artists, unveiled a stunning showcase of artistic talent – "Odyssey: An Ethereal Journey." The exhibition opened its doors on April 21st at the prestigious 2nd Floor Harbour Gate, Bahrain Financial Harbour, captivating art enthusiasts in Manama.

The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Anne Jalando-on Louis, the Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Her Excellency's participation underscored the exhibition's significance in fostering cultural dialogue and strengthening the ties between the Philippines and Bahrain through the shared language of art.

Adding to the event's grandeur were VIP guests including H.E. Mirna Khawly, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Lebanon, and representatives from Bahrain's cultural and business sectors: Ms. Huda Al Alawi (Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities), Mr. Alex Craine (Harbour Gate CEO), Mr. Frank Norman Eikeland (Domain Hotel Bahrain Executive Chairman), Mr. Pankaj Mishra (Domain Hotel Bahrain General Manager), and Ms. Gydabelle Naval (Philippine School Bahrain Directress).

"Odyssey: An Ethereal Journey" is a powerful testament to art's ability to transcend boundaries and unite people. The exhibition, proudly supported by the Philippine Embassy and Bahrain Financial Harbour, features a captivating array of works by established and emerging artists. A special section dedicated to young talents promises a glimpse into the future of the region's art scene.

The exhibition invites the public to embark on this unique odyssey of art and creativity until May 3rd, 2024.  The Filipino Creatives Bahrain warmly welcomes all art lovers to visit the 2nd Floor Harbour Gate between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm daily.
