The ancient oasis city of AlUla marked a successful return to the Arabian Travel Market 2024, currently underway until 9th May in Dubai, with a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly exhibition stand and a line-up of strategic announcements and partnerships that stand testament to the destination’s sustained growth.
Alongside fostering vital engagement with travel trade professionals and global media, the annual event will serve as the backdrop to Memorandums of Understanding being signed with Saudia Holidays, Wego, JetClass, Petal Ads and GoZahid opening doors to new partnerships that align with the dynamic growth of AlUla, a leading luxury boutique heritage destination.
The MoU with Saudia Holidays will see diverse AlUla packages promoted through co-branded campaigns, while the agreement with online travel marketplace Wego will feature joint marketing campaigns, promotions and exclusive offers aimed at captivating new visitors. AlUla’s collaboration with JetClass will elevate the city as a top luxury destination through private charter services. Additionally, the partnership with leading advertising platform Petal Ads will showcase AlUla’s diverse offerings on various media platforms across China, and the agreement with GoZahid will renew its affiliation with AlUla as Preferred DMC Partner.
Over the four days of the event, AlUla will also display its latest global accolades from the World Travel Awards Middle East, having been recognised as the Middle East's Leading Cultural Tourism Project 2024 for the second consecutive year, the Middle East's Leading Festival & Event Destination 2024 and Saudi Arabia's Leading Cultural Tourism Project 2024.
