A special ‘tourist passport’ has been launched by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), aiming to attract more tourists to explore and enjoy the kingdom’s attractions.
The initiative is part of celebrations marking Manama being named Gulf Tourism Capital for 2024.
Each promoted tourism site will feature a digital stamping platform where visitors can scan a QR code in their passport to confirm their visit, receive a digital stamp and boost their chances of winning prizes.
The passport will feature the slogan “Manama: The Gulf Tourism Capital.”
