A total of 261 patients Filipino Nationals of the Kingdom of Bahrain were provided with free medical, dental, optical and physical therapy rehabilitation services by Triskelion Medical Mission/Tikob Medical Mission (16th Annual Medical Mission) headed by MM16 Event Chairman Mr. Allan Alejandro V. Terceño Nurse Paramedic BDF Royal Military Hospital. Members of Triskelion International Bahrain Council, in collaboration with the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain on October 4, 2024, at the Philippine Embassy Bahrain held the Bayanihan Medical, Dental, and Optical Consultation in partnership with: Shifa Aljazeera Hospital, Al Duom Optical, Awal Dental Specialist Center, Filipino Pharmacists Association in Bahrain, Philippine Nurses Association Bahrain Chapter, United Bicolanos in Bahrain and Filipino Doctors and other health professionals in Bahrain. A team of volunteer doctors, pharmacists, dentists, and nurses with services ranging from medical consultations, dental check-ups and eye examinations to the provision of prescription medicine gathered and rendered the above services to the Filipino residents of Bahrain.
All the medical professionals who volunteered played a significant role in providing medical care and health education in the community. They dedicated their time and effort to help the Filipino residents in need. The remarkable and lasting impact they left behind made the medical mission successful.
