The Minister of Tourism, Fatima Al Sairafi, participated in a discussion panel at Gateway Gulf 2024 forum, organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, where she highlighted the successful attraction of a diverse selection of world-renowned hotels set to open in Bahrain from 2024 to 2026.
This expansion will add over 3,000 new hotel rooms, further strengthening Bahrain's position as a leading regional tourism hub.
This expansion reflects Bahrain's growing positioning as a premier, diverse tourism destination capable of meeting the needs of a wide variety of travellers, due to Bahrain's favourable business environment, investment-friendly incentives, and supportive measures that have attracted prestigious hotel projects aligned with global standards, she added.
This development is in line with Bahrain’s comprehensive development process and goals under the leadership of HM the King and the ongoing support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
