Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, yesterday received Asmaa Shalabi, the newly-appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Bahrain, where she presented her credentials.
The minister congratulated Ms Shalabi on her appointment and emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to continued co-operation with the UN and its specialised agencies. He commended the significant efforts and initiatives of the UNDP in achieving its objectives and wished her success in performing her duties.
