Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf Al Maawda yesterday signed the 1446 AH Haj arrangements agreement with Saudi Haj and Umrah Minister Dr Tawfiq Al Rabiah.
The agreement is within the framework of the final preparations for this year’s season, Bahrain’s quota for which is 4,625 pilgrims.
The agreement was signed during Mr Al Maawda’s participation in the 4th Haj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah, held under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
