Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theater (PAACT) organized an Iftar at Adliya Century Restaurant which was attended by members of PAACT and prominent people from the field of social, cultural, media and education in Bahrain. Mr. Salmanul Faris, Convenor of PAACT Iftar opened the event which was attended by 300+ people. It was followed by the religious ritual as required for IFTAR.
On conclusion of prayer , convenor invited the General Secretary Mr Shivadas Nair to deliver the welcome address followed by chief Coordinator, Mr Jyothi Menon to address the gathering. Mr Jamal Nadvi Iringal delivered the Ramadan message. He spoke about the significance of the fasting period and about the urgent need to show humanity. He underlined the necessity of creating harmony between religions and the need for society to move forward by upholding human values. Mr Deepak Vijayan gave vote of thanks.
